The Binghamton Philharmonic is kicking off its 2024-2025 season with "Restless Oceans", a night of musical bliss that promises to rejuvenate your soul. On Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 7:30pm, the Broome County Forum Theatre in Binghamton will host a performance that celebrates the restorative power of classical music.

The centerpiece of the evening will be Beethoven's iconic Symphony No. 6, also known as the "Pastoral Symphony." This timeless masterpiece transports listeners to a serene countryside, filled with birdsong, babbling brooks, and joyous festivities. Beethoven, a lover of nature himself, captured the harmony between humanity and the natural world in this evocative symphony.

Also on the program are Anna Clyne's "Restless Oceans" and the Horn Concerto No. 1 in E-flat Major, featuring the Philharmonic's principal horn, Alex Shuhan.

Tickets for the performance range from $28 to $69. Kids 17 and under can attend for free thanks to M&T Bank, Symphonic Series Sponsor.
