Tri-Cities Opera presents All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 on November 15,16, & 17, 2024 at the Tri-Cities Opera Center in Binghamton, NY.
The Western Front: Christmas 1914. Out of the violence of World War I, a silence, then a song. A German soldier steps into No Man’s Land singing “Stille Nacht.”
Thus begins an extraordinary night of camaraderie, music, and peace. All Is Calm is a remarkable true story in the words and songs of the men who lived it. With stunning a cappella arrangements of carols and folk songs from France, Germany, and England, the opera will be performed primarily in English with English supertitles.
Join us as we present this beautiful, holiday story with a performance on November 15th and 16th, and matinee performance on November 17th at the Tri-Cities Opera Center.

Saturday night’s performance will be a special Veteran Appreciation Night. Veterans groups, including Southern Tier Veterans Support Group (STVSG), Binghamton Vet Center, and Clear Path for Veterans, will be present and will provide information and support. Active service members and veterans will be invited to stand and be recognized. There will be an audience talkback after the performance.

Who
Children and youth under the age of 18 are eligible for FREE tickets when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. Each ticket-holding adult may reserve up to four youth tickets. Free youth tickets can be obtained only if you purchase your adult ticket(s) by calling the Tri-Cities Opera Box Office at (607) 772-0400. Not available online.
Discounted Student tickets for post-secondary (college, university, and trade school) students with a valid student ID are available any time via this form. $10 Rush tickets for students may be limited, so this offer is based strictly on availability and a first come first served basis. Tickets can be purchased in person only, starting 30 minutes prior to curtain time at the performance venue Box Office.
