Rocket Building Workshop
Saturday, June 9, 2018
(Three workshop times from which to choose)
Kopernik Mission Control is ready to help you and your family launch a rocket into the wild blue yonder! Rocket building workshops will run every 3 hours starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m. Our experienced staff will help you learn how to assemble the model rocket, prepare the engine, and launch the rocket. Send in your reservation to hold a place in the workshop of your choice and to order the type of rocket you wish to build. Standard rockets (A or B powered) are suitable for younger children and beginning rocket builders. Advanced rockets may have stronger engines (C or D powered) or advance features that are appropriate for those with more experience. See www.kopernik.org for information on the specific models of rockets that will be available.
Workshops are held rain or shine, however, launches may be delayed by weather conditions.
