One of the Southern Tier’s premier artistic institutions, the Anderson Center for the Performing Arts provides Binghamton University students and members of the surrounding community with an opportunity to experience a wide array of cultural programming at an affordable cost. 

The Anderson Center is home to the 1170 seat Osterhout Concert Theater, the 408 seat Chamber Hall and the 558 seat Watters Theater.

The mission of the Anderson Center for the Performing Arts is to enhance the local community and support Binghamton University’s educational vision through the presentation of multiculturally significant national and international performances, and varied regional and state events.

The Soul Rebels

Brass sensation the Soul Rebels started with an idea - to expand upon the pop music the members loved on the radio and the New Orleans brass tradition they grew up on. They’ve taken that tradition and blended funk and soul with elements of hip hop, jazz, and rock, all within the style of a modernized and contemporary brass band.
This engagement of The Soul Rebels is made possible in part through the Jazz Touring Network program of Mid Atlantic Arts with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.

American Ballet Theatre Studio Company

ABT Studio Company dancers perform masterworks of the classical and neoclassical canons alongside contemporary works. The group commissions a wide variety of choreographers to create new, custom ballets on the dancers each season, with a special focus on female choreographers.
