Their School-Age Child Care (SACC) program provides a warm, supportive, and stimulating environment where kids can learn, socialize, and thrive before the school bell rings and after the day ends.

STCC believes that learning happens everywhere. Beyond typical childcare, their program offers rich experiences designed to build confidence, foster curiosity, and support every child’s development:
- Academic Support & Literacy: Dedicated homework assistance and daily reading time to keep kids on track.
- Nutritious Snacks: Healthy afternoon snacks served daily to keep energy up.
- Hands-On Enrichment & STEM: Engaging STEM projects, arts & crafts, and hands-on cooking classes.
- Recreation & Physical Activity: Ample outdoor playtime and gym games to stay active and healthy.
- Unique Experiences & Community Guests: Kids explore new hobbies like fly fishing and interact with local professionals—such as mechanics, plumbers, and community leaders—who share their skills.
- Social-Emotional Learning & Mentoring: Staff maintain a 1:10 ratio, creating a welcoming space where every child feels valued while building key life skills.

STCC operates directly at the center as well as inside five local elementary schools across the Union-Endicott and Maine-Endwell school districts:

⏰ Hours
Before-School Care: Starts at 7:00AM.
After-School Care: Runs until 6:00PM.
Vacation & Break Care: Full-day childcare is offered on select school days off and vacation breaks!
💰 Monthly Fee Structure
STCC bills monthly with full-time (4+ days/week) and part-time options. Childcare subsidies are proudly accepted!

Enrollment is rolling until sites are full, with a final deadline of October 31st. Spots fill up quickly, so families are encouraged to register early!
