About Meadowsweet Montessori
Meadowsweet Montessori is an authentic Montessori school tailored for our changing world. Heather Frost’s dream of bringing this nurturing educational environment to Broome County was inspired by her work with Capucine Montessori (a Wildflower School) and her time in the Wildflower Blooms Cohort.

- Ages Served: Children ages 2.9 to 6.
- Year-Round Consistency: Unlike traditional school schedules that can leave parents scrambling for summer childcare, Meadowsweet offers a full-year (12-month) program that prioritizes consistency for thriving children while offering multiple scheduled breaks that align closely with other Broome County public schools.
- The Curriculum: Designed around real-life activities that build independence, refine sensory perceptions, and foster intellect. Children follow their own interests through specialized materials across Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, and Cultural subjects (including science, music, and the arts).
