The Schorr Family Firehouse Stage in Johnson City is looking for talented high school actors to participate in their upcoming Shakespeare Sonnet Contest. This isn't just a competition—it’s a chance to perform alongside professionals!


🎭 The Grand Prize

Selected winners won't just get a trophy; they get a spotlight. Winners will perform their sonnet on the historic Firehouse Stage during the professional touring production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised] [Again]!

📝 How to Enter

The audition process is simple and can be done right from home! Students just need to record a video of themselves performing their favorite Shakespeare sonnet.

  1. Pick a Sonnet: From the romantic Sonnet 18 to the moody Sonnet 29, let them choose the one that speaks to them.
  2. Record: Film a clear video of the performance.
  3. Submit: Fill out the Short Audition Form and include the link to the video.
Pro-Tip: Make sure the video lighting is bright and the audio is clear so the judges can see those dramatic expressions!
