Prepare for an afternoon of fun, interactive learning! Several research labs will be setting up stations with engaging hands-on activities for both children and adults alike. You can explore the work of:
- Bishop Movement Disorders Laboratory

- Couple Adjustment to Stress and Trauma Laboratory

Lab Tours: Go Behind the Scenes
Want an in-depth look at where the discovery happens? You can join a guided lab tour led by a member of the research team! Tours are limited to roughly 10 guests each but will start every 30 minutes beginning at 1:30pm, giving you multiple chances to join throughout the afternoon.
You can learn about fascinating topics, including:
- Memory and Aging (MAC2 Lab & CAMP Lab): Explore how lifelong health factors impact the brain, and how attention, age, and injury influence memory performance.
- Auditory Cognitive Neuroscience: Learn how we understand speech, learn new languages, and how hearing interacts with memory and learning.
- Infant and Child Studies / ENCoDe Team: Discover how vision and social perception develop in children and infants, and how things like digital exposure affect visual development.
- MRI Simulator: Hop on a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) simulator to learn the general principles of how this complex machine works to help scientists study the brain across the lifespan!
