Ready to hit the ice this fall and winter? The Binghamton Figure Skating Club is offering its Learn to SkateProgram for aspiring skaters of all ages, from kids as young as four to adults who've always wanted to try. Whether you're a first-timer or ready to brush up on your skills, this program is the perfect way to get moving on the ice!

The program provides a comprehensive experience, with each one-hour class consisting of a 30-minute lesson and 30 minutes of practice time. Lessons are grouped by age and ability, so everyone will feel comfortable and challenged.

FREE Pre-Registration Event

Before the sessions begin, all new students are invited to a FREE Pre-Registration Event on Saturday, September 20th, from 11am to 12pm. This is a great opportunity to get a feel for the ice, meet the coaches, be evaluated for class levels, and even try skating for the very first time!

Program Details

  • Location: SUNY Broome Ice Center, 907 Front Street, Binghamton.
  • Ages: 4 and up, including adults.
  • Fees: Each 6-week session costs $105 per skater. There is also a one-time, non-refundable $20 membership fee per skater for the season, which covers insurance from Learn To Skate USA.

Parent Skate

Do you want to join your child on the ice? For an additional $50 per session, parents with a child in the program can participate in "Parent Skate." This allows you to skate for 30 minutes during your child's practice time, helping them work on the skills they learned during their lesson.

Scholarship Opportunity

Financial assistance is available through the Gene Meadows Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship can help up to five children participate in the program for financial reasons.

All fees must be paid online, as cash and checks are not accepted. Be sure to register online before the sessions begin!
