Get ready to unearth a world of wonder right here in Binghamton! The beloved Rocks and Fossils Day at Roberson Museum is returning on Saturday, August 16th, from 11am to 3pm, and it's an event you won't want to miss if you have a dinosaur lover or budding geologist in your family!
We had a great time last year, and every time we read our free copy of "Saturday Night at the Dinosaur Stomp", they're reminded of the fun. Our toddler still brings up holding a fossil T-Rex tooth. It's truly a day where curiosity reigns and learning comes alive.
Again this year, prepare to "dig-in" to the vast world hidden beneath our feet! Your family will have the chance to:
- Learn from Expert Geologists: Discover fascinating facts about rocks, minerals, geodes, and prehistoric fossils directly from the pros.
- Get Hands-On: Enjoy a variety of engaging crafts and activities that bring geology and paleontology to life.
- Journey Back in Time: Catch a show in the Link Planetarium (extra $4 per not-yet-member, tickets available at the Front Desk on the day of the event).
- Enjoy Story Time: Gather for a fun story-time right in the historic Roberson Mansion.
Special Bonus for Story Time Pre-Registrants! Just like last year, if you pre-register for story-time, your child can receive a free copy of the story-time book (while supplies last). Last year, we loved receiving "Saturday Night at the Dinosaur Stomp," and it's still a favorite!
