It's Youth Weekend at Binghamton Pond Fest!

Enjoy Free Family Fun this Weekend at Chenango Valley State Park: January 24-26

Get ready for a weekend of FREE fun at Binghamton Pond Fest's Youth Weekend! This is the perfect event to enjoy the outdoors with tons of activities for kids of all ages. Here's a rundown of what you can expect:

Free Fun All Weekend Long

  • Open skate: Lace up your skates and hit the ice for open skate on Friday (5-6PM), Saturday (3-4PM), and Sunday (5-6PM). Don't forget to bring your own skates! (No skate rentals available.)
  • Games galore: Challenge your friends and family to corn hole, ladder golf, and giant Jenga.
  • Crafty creations: Unleash your creativity with fun crafts throughout the weekend.
  • Meet Yogi Bear!  Everyone's favorite park ranger will be making appearances all weekend long. Be sure to snap a selfie!

Test Your Skills (with a little spending money)

  • Carnival Games: Put your skills to the test at the carnival games, including mini basketball, laser tag, fun house, and more!

Other Fun Stuff

  • Food and drinks: No need to pack a lunch! Pinkies BBQ and Fire and Ice Greenside will be serving up delicious kid-friendly food and drinks.
  • Ice sculptures: Take a photo with the amazing ice sculpture and ice throne.

Special Events on Saturday

  • Story time and activities: Get cozy and listen to the story of "The Snow Thief" followed by fun activities. (10:30-11:30AM)
  • Craft time: Transform into a crafty penguin with a fun penguin craft session. (11AM - 12:30PM)
  • S'mores time: What's better than a gooey s'more on a winter day? Roast marshmallows and make delicious s'mores around the s'mores table. (12:30-2PM)
  • Nerf fun: The Boy Scouts will be setting up a Nerf hatchet throwing station and a bow and arrow range (weather permitting).
  • Dance party: Get your groove on with AP Entertainment from 1-4PM.
  • Hockey fun: Have a blast learning the basics of hockey at the FREE Kids Try Hockey session on Saturday. (5-6PM) 
  • Fireworks spectacular: Light up the night with a dazzling fireworks display on Saturday evening (between 6PM and 7PM).

  • There's a suggested donation of $20 to enter the festival, which includes a parking pass valid for all weekends.
