Calling all future business leaders of Broome County! The Reach for the Stars Kidpreneur Fair is on the hunt for its next generation of vendors, and it could be your child!
This first year event, taking place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 10am to 4pm at 800 Valley Plaza in Johnson City, gives young minds (ages 5-16) the chance to showcase their entrepreneurial spirit.
Is your child bursting with creative ideas? Do they have a unique product or service they're itching to sell? Then this is the perfect platform for them to:
- Turn their passion into profit: Set up a booth, sell their creations, and gain valuable experience in running a business.
- Compete for recognition: The fair features competitions in three age categories (5-8, 9-12, and 13-16), with prizes awarded for the most original business idea, highest potential, and best presentation.
- Gain valuable life skills: From communication to marketing, the Kidpreneur Fair fosters confidence, public speaking skills, and a taste of the real business world.

You can also follow their Facebook page for updates! There's a $20 participation fee for accepted businesses to help cover the cost of running the event and giving your child a chance to shine.
Important Dates:
- Vendor Acceptance: Applicants will be notified beginning in late September and continuing until all spaces are filled.
- Event Date: 10am-4pm on Saturday, December 7, 2024 (Vendors must be set up by 9:30am for photos and judging.)
