The JCC of Binghamton, located at 500 Clubhouse Rd in Vestal, New York, is offering a variety of swim lessons this fall, perfect for children of all ages and abilities. Whether your child is a complete beginner or looking to refine their skills, the JCC has a program to help them become a confident and happy swimmer.
Group Lessons: Fun and Fundamentals
Youth group swim lessons are designed to make learning to swim a fun and rewarding experience. Certified instructors create a positive and supportive environment where children can develop essential water safety skills and build confidence in the pool.
Fall Session Dates:
- Session 1: Sundays, September 22nd - October 27th & Tuesdays, September 24th - October 29th
- Session 2: Sundays, November 10th - December 15th & Tuesdays, November 12th - December 17th
Age Groups:
- Preschool: Ages 2-5
- Youth: Ages 6-9
- Advanced Youth: Ages 9-12
- Parent/Child: All Ages
Pricing:
- Members: $78 per session
- Non-Members: $132 per session
Private Lessons: Personalized Instruction
For those seeking a more individualized approach, the JCC offers private swim lessons. These lessons allow children to receive one-on-one instruction from expert coaches, ensuring a safe and effective learning experience. Call 607-724-2417 to inquire about availability and times.
Self-Rescue Skills for Children 6 Months - 6 Years
The JCC has partnered with Central New York ISR to offer self-rescue swim classes for children ages 6 months to 6 years old. These specialized 10-minute classes, starting October 28, 2024, will be offered between 7am and 9:50am, Monday through Friday. This one-on-one program teaches infants and young children essential self-rescue skills in a safe and controlled environment.
