Looking for fun activities for your family this fall? Check out the offerings from the Town of Union's Parks and Recreation Department! They have a variety of programs and events planned that are sure to keep everyone entertained.
Mark Your Calendars for Holiday Fun!
- Halloween at Highland: Join the spooky fun on Saturday, October 26th from 3-5pm at Highland Park. Enjoy a scavenger hunt, trick-or-treating (weather permitting), face painting, glitter tattoos, bounce houses, balloon animals, a photo booth, crafts for kids, and free cider and donuts!
- Christmas in the Park: Celebrate the holidays on Sunday, December 8th from 1-5pm at the Recreation Center at Highland Park. This festive event features entertainment, photos with Santa, glitter tattoos, pony rides, balloon artistry, refreshments, crafts and activities for kids, a "Bear Factory" (build your own bear), a tree lighting ceremony, and more!
Fall Youth Programs Kick Off Soon!
Registration for Town of Union's fall youth programs begins on September 9, 2024. Programs are available for a variety of ages and interests, and financial assistance is available to qualifying households.
Here's a peek at some of the youth programs offered this fall:
- Bumper Bowling (Ages 4-6): No experience is required for this program!
- When: 12pm on Saturdays, Sept 21-Dec 14
- Where: Ideal Bowling Center, Endicott
- Cost: $40/Town of Union Resident, $55/Non-Resident (includes shoe rental, one game and pizza party)
- Instructional Bowling (Ages 7-17):
- When: 12pm on Saturdays, Sept 21-Dec 14
- Where: Ideal Bowling Center, Endicott
- Cost: $50/Town of Union Resident, $65/Non-Resident (includes shoe rental, two games and pizza party)
- Little Hoopsters (Ages 4 & 5): Registration closes December 13, 2024.
- When: Saturday mornings, Jan 4-Feb 22
- Where: Gymnasium at Highland Park, Endwell
- Cost: $40/Resident, $55/Non-Resident
- Co-Ed Recreational Basketball (Ages 6-12):
- When: Saturdays, Jan 4-Mar 22
- Where: Gymnasium at Highland Park, Endwell
- Cost: $45/Resident, $60/Non-Resident
