Are you looking for an indoor activity for you and your toddler to do this fall? Check out the YMCA's 1-2-3 Grow program in Johnson City! This weekly class, held in the gymnasium, fosters play-based learning for kids ages 1, 2, and 3.

Watch as your child develops essential physical and cognitive skills through fun-filled activities. Each class begins and ends with circle time, where you and your child can sing, dance, and interact with other families.

The majority of class time is dedicated to open play in the gym, where your little one can crawl, climb, run, and jump safely.

Through collaborative play and hands-on exploration, your child will build socialization and problem-solving skills while having fun. Plus, caregiver participation is required, so you can bond with your little one while supporting their development.

Class Details:

  • Dates: Wednesdays, September 4th - October 30th (8-week session) and November 6th - December 18th (7-week session)
  • Ages: 1 to 3 years with caregiver participation (child should be 1 year of age by last day of the session)
  • Time: 10:00 - 10:45am
  • Location: West Family YMCA - 740 Main St, Johnson City, NY 13790
  • Rates: Free for members, $61.86/session for non-members
  • First Class is Free!

A youth membership is $86/year, so if you're interested in more than one session or participating in other activities at the YMCA like swim lessons, becoming a member is a great option. If you're not sure, enjoy your first visit for free. To save a spot in the class, register online or contact Kelsey Mirabito at 607-770-9622 x420 or KMirabito@ymcabroome.org.
