Looking for a welcoming, free space where your little one (ages 0-5) can play and you can connect with other caregivers? Check out the Parents As Leaders (PAL) Family Resource Centers, operated by Mothers & Babies Perinatal Network!

PAL Centers are drop-in centers designed especially for parents and children, with a focus on supporting new parents raising infants and toddlers. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting your parenting journey, PAL offers a warm and inclusive environment. There are two locations: 67 Robinson Street in Binghamton and 346 Grand Ave in Johnson City.

More Than Just Playtime

PAL Centers provide a safe and stimulating free play space where your child can explore, crawl around, make new friends, and develop essential social skills. While they offer plenty of open playtime, they also offer a variety of activities and events throughout the week including themed crafts and story times. Stay tuned to the Mothers & Babies Perinatal Network's Facebook page as they release a schedule of their activities each month.

Open to All, Easy to Access

There are no residency restrictions to visit a PAL Center. On your first visit, you'll complete a brief survey – it helps them secure grant funding to continue offering these valuable services. Then, simply head in and enjoy the space!

Supporting Families Beyond Play

PAL Centers go beyond playtime to offer additional resources for families. They have a children's clothing closet where you can find gently used clothing for your little one, completely free of charge. If you have gently used clothes your child has outgrown, consider donating them to the PAL Center and pay it forward to another family in need!
