The 6th Annual Noah Farrelly Run and Southside Field Day returns to Binghamton on Sunday, June 2nd, offering a fun-filled day for the whole family at MacArthur Park. This event is more than just a day of games and entertainment; it's a fundraiser for The Noah Farrelly Memorial Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting local youth projects.
Get ready to run - or cheer on the runners, let the little ones loose in the free Kids' Fun Zone, and treat yourself to delicious food from concessions sponsored by local favorites: Food & Fire BBQ, Scoopy Dooby's Ice Cream, and Sammy's Italian Ice – all at family-friendly prices.
Family-Focused Running:
The day kicks off with 5K and 10K road races for both adults and children, while younger participants (ages 2-12) can join the free Kids' Fun Run.
Activities Galore for Kids:
Children of all ages will enjoy the free Kids' Fun Zone from 10am-4pm with giant slides, an obstacle course, and bounce houses for both little and big kids! Artists will bring smiles with their face painting, hair tinsel, and balloon twisting. Local organizations will be present, offering interactive activities and demonstrations for children including a bubble play zone, sand table dinosaur fun, chalk art walk, and 600 giant LEGO-style building blocks.
Supporting Local Youth:
Proceeds from the basket raffle and concessions support The Noah Farrelly Memorial Fund. This event is a fantastic way to enjoy a day of family fun while supporting a worthy cause.

- 8:30am - 10K Start
- 9:00am - Basket Raffle Opens
- 9:30am - Post-Race Picnic by Food & Fire BBQ opens, $16 spectator meals available as supplies last
- 10:00am - 5K Start, FREE Kids' Zone Opens
- 11:00am - Kids' Fun Run - (Heat one: ages 7-12, Heat two: ages 2-6)
- 11:15am - Race Awards
- 11:30am - Event Concessions Open, Kickball Tournament Start
- 3:00pm - Basket Raffle Closes
- 4:00pm - Kids' Zone closes, basket winners announced, concessions close
- Location: MacArthur Park, Binghamton, NY
- Admission: Free (registration required for some activities)
- Parking: Plan extra time to park in the surrounding neighborhood and walk into the event. The park is closed to all traffic during the event. The parking lot off Veterans Ave will be available after 11:30am, but spaces are limited.
