Get ready for a night of stories, laughter, and learning at the 13th Annual Literacy Day! This free community event takes place on Wednesday, May 22nd from 5:30 to 7:30pm at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Vestal, NY. Donations for CHOW will be gratefully accepted.

From STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) challenges to musical movement, instrument discovery with the Binghamton Philharmonic, and captivating story readings – there's something to ignite every child's curiosity.
- Dress Up and Celebrate: Let your imagination run wild! Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite book characters.
- Sweet Treats: Top off the evening with an ice cream social – a perfect treat for the whole family!
Presented by the Jewish Community Center and WSKG, with participation from dozens of community organizations, Literacy Day caters to all ages, offering engaging activities for older children, a dedicated space for infants and toddlers, and a quiet sensory room for those seeking a calming environment.
