Spring has sprung, and wanderlust is in the air! To quench your thirst for travel before summer arrives, the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra invites you on a musical adventure to the sun-drenched shores of the Mediterranean with their upcoming concert, "Roman Holiday."

This special performance on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 7:30pm at the Broome County Forum Theatre in Downtown Binghamton, will be a delightful journey through the sights and sounds of Italy and Spain. Prepare to be transported by the evocative sounds of composers who captured the essence of these captivating regions.

A Musical Voyage:

  • Tchaikovsky's "Capriccio Italien" will take you on a virtual visit to Rome, with familiar Italian melodies that will have you swaying in your seat.
  • Ottorino Respighi's "The Pines of Rome" offers a vibrant tour of the Italian capital's natural beauty.
  • Living Puerto Rican composer Robert Sierra's "Fandangos" will ignite your senses with the fiery spirit of traditional Spanish dance.

Children 17 and under can attend for free thanks to the generosity of the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra's season sponsors.
