Broome County Students: Enter Be the Light Art Contest by Feb. 29

Family Violence Prevention Council of Broome County asks students to promote hope and positivity

The Family Violence Prevention Council of Broome County is hosting its 3rd Annual Art Contest to engage local youth in promoting hope and positivity. All Broome County students, from Pre-K to 12th grade, are invited to illuminate the theme "Be the Light" and submit artwork that expresses hope, inspiration, guidance, positivity, and leadership. 

The top three winners will be rewarded:

1st Place: Your artwork takes center stage on a billboard

2nd Place: $50 art kit from Michaels

3rd Place: $25 art kit from Michaels

While artwork must be two dimensional and submitted as a photo or JPEG, accepted mediums include paintings, drawings, prints, mixed media, and computer-generated art. To participate, students must submit entries through the online entry form by February 29, 2024. Winners will be announced on March 18, 2024.
