The Discovery Center is turning 40, and they need your help to make it a celebration everyone will remember. They're calling on artists, scouts, clubs, classrooms, and ANYONE with a creative spark to decorate giant wooden birthday candles! Once transformed, the 48” x 6” candles will brighten the fence leading to the Museum throughout 2024.
Here's how you can be part of the fun:
- Choose your colors! The Discovery Center will provide a paint palette of 11 colors to choose from.
- Let your creativity flow! Submit a drawing of your design idea for approval.
- Pick up your candle and get painting! Unleash your artistic talents and transform the blank canvas into a masterpiece using the provided paints.
- Return your masterpiece by March 15, 2024! See your creation become part of the birthday celebration.
Imagine your artwork illuminating the fence alongside 39 other unique creations, all celebrating 40 years of wonder and exploration at The Discovery Center. This is a chance to showcase your talent, contribute to a community project, and be a part of a truly special birthday celebration.
