DICK's House of Sport Ice Rink Opens for the Season

The ice rink is open to the public for open skate, private rentals, and special events

As the first snowflakes begin to fall and the air turns crisp, DICK's House of Sport welcomes the community to the outdoor ice rink for its first season of winter fun. The rink, located at the DICK's House of Sport store in Oakdale Commons in Johnson City, officially opens November 18-19, 2023, kicking off the holiday season with a Grand Opening Celebration.

Beginning November 22, open skate will be available 4-8pm Thursday-Friday, 12-8pm Saturday, and 12-7pm Sunday. The cost is $10 for adults and $8 for children under 12. Skates in all sizes are available to rent for $6.

In addition to open skating sessions, the DICK's House of Sport ice rink offers a variety of special events and programs throughout the season. These events include:

Measuring 60 feet wide by 100 feet long, the rink provides ample space for skaters of all ages and skill levels to glide, twirl, and practice their hockey skills. Whether you're a seasoned skater or a first-time wobbly adventurer, the rink welcomes everyone to embrace the joy of ice skating.
