LUMA Projection Arts Festival is inviting children (12 and under) in the community to participate in The Peg Johnston Living Lights Project by submitting their artwork for the chance to be projected on buildings in Downtown Binghamton during the festival on September 8-9, 2023.

A public workshop will take place in Kids Commons at The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier from 1-3pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. At this event, children will be provided with everything they need to build Living Lights murals. Templates are available at the front desk of the Museum for anyone interested in working on them at home. Artists can use any medium they choose. Selected artwork will be scanned in extremely high resolution and projected onto building facades throughout the LUMA Projection Arts Festival.

All submissions must be delivered to The Discovery Center at 60 Morgan Rd in Binghamton, NY by August 22, 2023 to be considered. Call (607) 773-8661 with any questions.
